Christina Lampe-Onnerud

Bio

Christina Lampe-Önnerud has served as a director of ON Semiconductor Corporation since September 2023. Ms. Lampe-Önnerud is widely recognized for her pioneering work in the global energy storage industry. The founder and chief executive officer of Cadenza Innovation, Inc. (a battery technology company) since 2012, Ms. Lampe-Önnerud has extensive experience in raising capital, developing strategic relationships and converting them into multi-year business opportunities. Before founding Cadenza Innovation, Ms. Lampe-Önnerud served as senior manager and management committee advisor for Bridgewater Associates from 2013 to 2014, chief executive officer and chairman of Boston-Power, Inc., an energy storage company, from 2004 through 2011 and 2012, respectively, and as director and partner, technology and innovation practice, at Arthur D. Little, Inc. from 1998 through 2004. In addition to the board of directors of Cadenza Innovation, Ms. Lampe-Önnerud has served as a member of the board of directors of Livent since 2020 and the board of directors of NY-BEST since 2016. Previously, Ms. Lampe-Önnerud served as a director of FuelCell Energy and of Boston-Power.

Ms. Lampe-Önnerud received both a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry and calculus and a Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry from Uppsala University. After her time at Uppsala University, Ms. Lampe-Önnerud served as a post-doctoral fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She received Sweden’s prestigious King’s Medal, honoring Swedish and foreign citizens for special merits, in 2022, and was appointed a Lifetime Member of the Royal Academy of Engineering Sciences (Sweden) in 2010 and a Lifetime Ambassador of Honor in Dalarna, Sweden in 2013.
